英語中的rise和raise因為在拼寫和意思上都有諸多相似之處,比較容易混淆,具體區別如下:
1、rise是不及物動詞,所以後面不接賓語。其常見含義有「上升;增加;起床;反抗;復活」,rise作為動詞使用時,其典型主語為price,sun,temperature,cost,tension,employment等常用於rise above、rise and fall、rise to one's feet等短語。
2、raise是及物動詞,所以後面一定要接賓語。其主要含義有「升起;舉起;飼養;提出;籌集」。raise作為動詞使用時,其典型主語為fund,money,mother,parent,grandmother,grandparent,issue等。
